What began as a dream at age twelve has grown into a lifelong mission— one that inspires purpose, faith, and meaningful connection in every life it touches.

OUR STORY
Founded in 1979 in Portsmouth, Ohio, Jeff Lisath Basketball Inc. began with a simple yet powerful goal: to give at-risk youth a positive alternative to the streets. Through basketball camps, clinics, and tournaments, we provided a safe, uplifting space where young people could learn discipline, teamwork, and self-worth.

OUR MISSION AND VISION
Over time, our purpose expanded beyond the game itself. Today, we use basketball as a platform for ministry—sharing messages of hope, faith, and perseverance. Our vision is to build a lasting, global ministry that uplifts communities through both spiritual and personal growth. We provide free Bibles, backpacks, T-shirts, hoodies, youth basketball camps and clinics, motivational speaking engagements, and $1,000 academic scholarships to students at Northridge and Portsmouth High Schools.

Jeff Lisath is one of Ohio’s most accomplished basketball minds. A two-time All-Ohio player and two-time state champion, he’s built a legacy not just as a player but as a powerhouse coach with over 400 career wins. Lisath has turned around programs at four high schools and a community college, racking up league and tournament titles along the way. He’s been named AP Ohio Division III Coach of the Year and honored across districts and leagues for his leadership and success. His impact goes beyond the sidelines—Lisath has shared his coaching philosophy at the Nike Coaches Clinic, helping shape the next generation of basketball minds.
